What this site is

I started this site because every "best LEGO set" article I'd ever read was either ranked-by-piece-count or written by someone who clearly hadn't built any of the sets they were recommending. So I'm doing the version I wish existed: real reviews, in the order I'd actually buy them, by someone who's lived with the sets.

The honest part

This site runs on affiliate commissions. When you buy a LEGO set through a link here, I get a small cut from the retailer — at no extra cost to you. That's the whole business model. It only works if my recommendations are honest, because if I steer you toward a set that disappoints you, you stop trusting me, and the model breaks.

I don't accept free sets in exchange for reviews. I don't run sponsored posts disguised as reviews. Every set I review, I bought myself. If I think a set is overpriced, I say so — even if it's a flagship and even if the affiliate commission would be huge.
