Hey everyone, it’s Tanner. The LEGO Marvel Studios Logo (set 76288) is one of those builds that’s secretly a minifig-pack in disguise — and that’s the whole point of it. Nine minifigures, one display logo, $90 all-in. The math is the appeal.

The Real Value Proposition

This set isn’t really about the logo. The logo is the frame. The substance is the nine MCU minifigures that ship with it:

  • Iron Man (Mark 50 armor)
  • Captain America (with the photoreal shield print)
  • Thor (with Mjolnir)
  • Hulk
  • Spider-Man (red and blue suit)
  • Black Panther
  • Doctor Strange
  • Captain Marvel
  • The Wasp

That’s roughly $10 per minifig — meaningfully cheaper than collecting them through the Collectible Minifigure (CMF) blind-bag line, where individual figures average $5–7 if you don’t pull duplicates. For a complete Avengers display roster, the Logo set is the best price-per-figure deal in the Marvel LEGO lineup.

The Logo Itself

The buildable Marvel Studios logo is the iconic red rectangular letterform with “MARVEL STUDIOS” in white inset, mounted on a low display plinth. The letters are built up from a mix of red bricks and stickered tiles — and the sticker work is where build quality matters. If your stickers are misaligned even slightly, the logo reads as off from a distance.

Take your time on the sticker phase. Use a hobby knife. Dry-fit each tile before committing.

The logo plinth has nine minifigure stands across the front — one for each character. The figures stand in front of the logo, the logo backdrops the figures, and the whole composition reads as a movie poster come to life on your shelf.

The Build

691 pieces, roughly 3 hours across one or two sessions. The build is short by Icons standards but appropriate for the price — most of the box is dedicated to the figures, not the structural piece count. The logo goes together quickly because the geometry is just rectangles and inset letterform.

The most satisfying part of the build is lining up all nine figures on the plinth at the end. Suddenly the set isn’t a logo — it’s a tableau, and the LEGO version of a Marvel Studios opening credits sequence in your living room.

What to Watch For

If you already own most of these minifigures from other Marvel sets, the value of this set drops sharply. Check your existing collection first. If you have 6+ of these figures already, this set is mostly the logo and one or two new figures — and at that point, $90 starts feeling expensive for a 691-piece logo build.

If you’re newer to Marvel LEGO and don’t own most of these figures, this is the single best entry point in the lineup. Buy this first, then build out from individual sets.

Display Notes

Footprint: 30cm × 12cm — small enough to fit on a single shelf with the figures lined up in front. Display at eye level, where the figures’ faces are visible. The logo height is roughly 18cm, so above eye level the figures get blocked by the plinth.

This set photographs well from a slightly low angle, where the logo backdrops the figures dramatically. It’s also one of the few Marvel LEGO displays that rotates well with seasons — swap in a new lineup of figures for Halloween, holidays, or movie tie-ins, and the set has new energy without rebuilding.

Is It Worth $90?

If you don’t own most of the included figures: yes, easy yes. $10/minifig is great value, and you get a buildable display piece on top.

If you own 6+ of the figures already: wait for a 20% LEGO Insiders discount, which has happened twice in 2025 on this set. At $72 it’s a fair price even with overlap.

This isn’t a flagship build, and it’s not pretending to be. It’s the Marvel-shelf foundation set — the one that justifies the rest of your minifig collection by giving them a proper home.
