The 10143 Death Star II — released in 2005 — had one of the shortest UCS Star Wars retail runs in history, with most sources putting its retirement late in 2005 or early 2006. Sealed examples are now $2,400+. The Vikings theme retired this year. Knudstorp's "kill underperforming themes" pass continued; several mid-2000s licensed lines ended quietly without replacement.
